PM Modi’s first Maan Ki Baat 2.0: PM Modi stresses on the water conservation

PM Modi stresses on the water conversation in his Man Ki Baat 2.0 address after a gap of four months. PM Modi in his first ‘Mann Ki Baat’ after becoming PM for second term said “always had faith in the people of India” and thanked people for bringing him back once again for second term. In his address PM Modi urged people to come together and work towards conservation of water.

PM Modi said “Lets start mass movement to conserve water.” Modi said that the government and people should create a database of people who are involved in the water conservation related work.

After a gap of four months PM Modi re-started his monthly radio programme “Mann Ki Baat”. He addresses people on All India Radio today.

PM Modi led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secured major victory in 2019 General Elections and formed the government for next 5 years in country. PM Modi became PM for the second term and today was his first address in monthly Mann Ki Baat program.

In context to the water conservation PM Modi said “When we come together and honestly make an effort then even impossible becomes possible. When everyone will come together, we will be able to conserve water. I appeal to all Indians, including eminent people from all walks of life to create awareness on water conservation.”

These days many parts of India are facing severe water shortage and there is utmost need of water conservation.

PM Modi further added “Share knowledge of traditional methods of water conservation. If you know about any individuals or NGOs working on water, do share about them.”

PM Modi said that one method of water conservation can’t be applicable throughout the country as different parts of the country uses different methods of water conversation. So, we must work together to conserve every drop of water.

PM Modi said that recently he had written letters to all Gram Pradhans in the country about the importance of water conservation and to create awareness about water conservations across rural parts of country.

He further said “A meeting was held in many Gram Sabhas and panchayats to discuss means of water conservation. Over the last few months, so many people have written about water related issues. I am happy to see greater awareness on water conservation.”

Speaking about his visits to Kedarnath and Badrinath at the end of elections campaign he said that his visit was not politically motivated but the visit was an initiative to meet himself. Modi said that he will talk about his visit in the later episodes of Mann Ki Baat program.

Modi had also tweeted that and invited people to send their suggestions for the monthly Mann Kit Baat programme.
