Chinese Smartphone manufacturing company Xiaomi announced the release date of its “Killer” smartphone Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro in Indian on July 17th. Xiaomi India’s MD Manu Jain has confirmed the release date of these phones by posting a message on his Twitter account.
The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro are said to be the “Killer” Smarptphones which was launched in China this May. Now company is bringing these phones in the India market where price of the phone determines the no of units to be sold. Xiaomi is has been targeting all the segments of the mobile phone market with its aggressive pricing. Xiaomi is giving tough competition to other phones in the market.
After many rumours and leaks these phones are finally coming to India on July 17th. These two phones are coming with screen size of 6.39-inches at a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display type in these phones is AMOLED screen. These phones are identical except the difference in processors used.
The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro comes in 3D glass design and front AMOLED screen. Phones comes with the support for fingerprint sensors and pop-camera for taking selfie in the front.
On the camera side both these phones with the a setup of 3 rear-cameras which gives 48MP photos. The 48MP Sony primary sensors are fitted on the rear of these cameras. The K20 model features an IMX582 while the K20 Pro model has an IMX586 camera setup.
The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro comes with vertically stacked triple camera setup which works together to give high quality photos and videos. The primary shooting camera is 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with aperture of f/1.75. There is secondary wide-angle camera with 13MP and an aperture of f/2.4. The third is telescopic camera with 8MP sensor and f/2.4 aperture. This camera setup of phone gives an power of taking slow-motion video at 960fps.
The selfie camera of this phone also powerful with 20MP sensor and comes with AI features to take high quality selfie images/videos.
The Redmi K20 pro comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor while Redmi K20 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor.
Both these phones with 4000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging which is good as users can charge phones quickly.
The camera setup is also the same as the Pro variant; however, the 48MP sensor is IMX582. Redmi K20 Pro comes in 64GB/128GB/256GB storage variant while Redmi K20 comes with 64GB/128GB storage support.
