Piyush Goyal laid Foundation stone for satellite railway station in Cherlapally

Hyderabad: Foundation stone laid for Satellite railway station in Cherlapally on Tuesday by Union minister Piyush Goyal. He also inaugurated free wifi services at 427 railway stations across South Central Railway (SCR) region. Speaking After this remote launch from Secunderabad Railway station, the minister said the NDA govt has allotted Rs.2602 Crore for railways in 2020-21 Union Budget Whereas previous UPA govt was allocated only Rs.258 Crore.

Speaking on the occasion Union Minister for State Mr. Kishan Reddy said Rs.221 Crores have been allotted for Cherlapally satellite railway station which is very important for the second phase MMTS project. He also thanked the Central government on behalf of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh people.

South Central railway authorities planning to develop Cherlapally satellite railway station into a mega terminal as the Secunderabad, Kacheguda and Hyderabad railway stations have reached optimum capacity.

Telangana Minister for animal husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav and others were also present on the occasion.
