Top South Indian Blockbusters to Release This May 2019

Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, the movie tells the story of a business tycoon named Rishi, who outlives his millionaire persona by becoming a messiah of the poor and downtrodden when he returns from abroad and settles in his native place. The story of heroism weaved around a benevolent rich man is not something new to the moviegoers but the composed acting and gritty unfolding of the storyline is what makes this movie so special.

NGK

The charismatic South Indian actor Suriya is already known for his mass appeal in and out of the silver screen. In NGK, you can see this all-time great actor in a completely different avatar. NGK which is the abbreviation of the cinematic character Nandha Gopalan Kumaran tells the story of an inspired and ruthless character who becomes the prima facie of a socio-political revolution. Scheduled to be released on the last date of the month and directed by Selvaraghavan the movie stars Rakul Preet Singh and Sai Pallavi in other lead roles.

Dear Comrade

Dear Comrade is a politically charged romantic drama based on real-life events and carries the socio-political sensibilities typical of South India. Starring Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna and directed by Bharat Kamma, the movie is all going to be released on 31st May in all South Indian languages.

Mr. Local

Among all the releases set for this month, this Tamil movie starring Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara and directed by Rajesh will bring you a comic relief.  Set for release on May 17, the movie comes with a refreshing entertainment and relief packed in perfect measure.
