New Delhi: PM Modi biopic releases in the cinema halls across the country, movie release was delayed due to elections. The ‘PM Narendra Modi’ is Hindi movie directed by Omung Kumar starring Vivek Oberoi is biopic movie on PM Narendra Modi. This movie is going to compete with the action thriller India’s Most Wanted which is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta.
The Hindi movie ‘PM Narendra Modi’ is release one day after Lok Sabha election results. This movie was originally scheduled to release on 12 April 2019, but due to Lok Sabha general elections it was put on hold by Supreme Court.
Due to its release date during Lok Sabha General Elections, this movie has been in the controversy; now after the Lok Sabha results this movie is released in cinema halls across the country. Now this movie is being played on the screens across various cinema halls in country. This movie is starring The Vivek Oberoi and is on the life of PM Modi. It was scheduled to release on 12 April, but the day was shifted multiple times and finally it is released only after results of General Elections.
Members of several Opposition parties opposed the release of this movie during polling period as they believed it may influence he voters and the movie is politically motivated. Due to these reasons Supreme Court banned the release of movie during polling time.
After declaration of election results in which BJP secured more than 350+ seats, movie is release in the cinema halls today.
The Hindi movie ‘PM Narendra Modi’ was initially planned to release on April 5, but later on it was pushed to April 11. One day before the release of this movie Supreme Court put hold on the release of movie and directed producer to release after Lok Sabha Election results. Finally this movie is release after Lok Sabha Elections results on 24th May 2019.
The produce of ‘PM Narendra Modi’, Sandip Ssingh finally announced the release data of the movie, he said, “We come again fighting all the roadblocks & hurdles coming in our way! #PMNarendraModi now in cinemas from 24th May. ”
The casts of the movie are Vivek Oberoi, Manoj Joshi as Amit Shah, Rajendra Gupta as Modi’s father, Zarina Wahab as Modi’s mother and Barkha Bisht Sengupta as Modi’s wife .
The trailer of this movie was very famous it was released just two months ago and the second trailer of the movie was released 3 days before final release date.
The filming of this movie was started on 27 January 2019 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Movie presents the early life history of PM Modi, his childhood details and finally his political journey. Some part of movie as also filmed in Uttarkashi district. During the filming of this movie Vivek was injured doing a scene in Uttrakashi.
The Hindi movie ‘PM Narendra Modi’ is expected to give tough fight to the Arjun Kapoor’s crime thriller which is also released this week.
